On July 27, during the Media Roundtable at the 2026 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference, Guo Shougang, the Director of the First Department of Equipment Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, announced that the ministry is set to expedite the rollout of the '15th Five-Year Plan' specifically tailored for the intelligent connected new energy vehicle sector. This initiative will involve the implementation of the National Standardization Development Blueprint, securing advancements in pivotal core technologies. Furthermore, the ministry aims to drive forward the formulation, international alignment, and execution of critical standards, intensify pilot deployments like 'vehicle-road-cloud integration,' foster a comprehensive industry chain ecosystem, and ultimately spur the high-caliber growth of the industry.
