On July 27th, reports emerged indicating that on the previous day, July 26th, two Chinese-built car carriers with a capacity of 10,000 vehicles each—the 'Glovis Pilot', sailing under the Panamanian flag, and the 'Glovis Nova', flying the Maltese flag—simultaneously berthed at the Shanghai Nangang Terminal. They set sail with their holds brimming with domestically manufactured commercial vehicles. Notably, the 'Glovis Nova', a recently delivered vessel, loaded 7,738 new energy vehicles, thereby establishing a new benchmark for the single-voyage loading volume of commercial vehicles at domestic ports.
