On July 21, IM Motors released a statement to address unsubstantiated rumors circulating online. It clarified that the funding chain disruption at Kunming Zhiyueyuexing, one of its dealers, which stemmed from private lending issues, had led to some customers being unable to register and take delivery of their vehicles. This situation also impacted the deliveries at Zhuhai Zhiyueyuexing. Following the incident, IM Motors promptly assembled a dedicated task force. By July 17, they had completed the process of reaching out to affected users and organizing the necessary steps. Starting from the 18th, they resumed the issuance of qualification certificates and vehicle deliveries. It is anticipated that all orders from regular vehicle purchase customers will be fulfilled by the end of this week. Customers in the Kunming and Zhuhai regions are encouraged to visit designated delivery centers for after-sales services.

IM Motors emphasized that certain organizations and individuals have maliciously amplified this isolated incident into a so-called 'widespread dealer crisis' spanning multiple regions, thereby tarnishing the brand's reputation. The company reiterated that its nationwide channel operations remain strong and stable, with 26 new stores having opened in June and July.
