NIO vehemently contends that its listing lacks a valid rationale, emphasizing that it is not a Chinese military entity nor engaged in the military-civil integration efforts within China's defense sector. It is important to note that the CMC list does not constitute a sanctions list, and the procurement restrictions imposed by the U.S. government in relation to this list will not adversely affect NIO's operations. Moreover, the inclusion on this list does not impose any limitations on the trading of NIO's securities. NIO is committed to engaging in proactive dialogue with the U.S. Department of Defense and, if deemed necessary, will resort to legal measures to protect the interests of the company and its shareholders.
