On May 29, MINIEYE (02431.HK) made an official announcement, revealing that it has successfully acquired a 50% equity interest in Xi'an Tongtu Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZTO Express, at a price of RMB 25 million. Specifically, RMB 20 million of the total consideration was settled through the issuance of consideration shares, while the remaining RMB 5 million was paid in cash. Upon the finalization of this acquisition, Tongtu Technology will transition into a non-wholly-owned subsidiary under the MINIEYE umbrella. Leveraging ZTO Express's well-established logistics ecosystem, MINIEYE aims to expedite the commercialization process of its L4 autonomous driving technology. Presently, MINIEYE's Xiaozhu autonomous logistics vehicles have already been deployed across 18 cities, including major hubs like Guangzhou and Changsha, boasting an operational fleet that surpasses 7,000 units.
