On May 29, Guangzhou unveiled the blueprint of its 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, outlining a strategic emphasis on the research, development, and production of complete vehicles within the realms of intelligent automobiles, pure electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Concurrently, the plan underscores the necessity to fortify pivotal technology and component sectors, encompassing intelligent driving, the 'three electric' systems (comprising the electric drive system, battery system, and electronic control system), and automotive-grade chips. Furthermore, the plan encompasses the establishment of numerous pertinent industrial parks, such as the Panyu GAC Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park, the Huadu Automotive Electronics Industrial Park, and the Huangpu XPENG Intelligent Connected Vehicle Ecological Industrial Park.
