On May 19th, it was reported that on May 18th, New Tsinghua Unigroup and BAIC Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two sides will seize the opportunity of the intelligent transformation of the automotive industry to launch comprehensive cooperation in core technologies, product development, industrial investment, and ecosystem construction, jointly promoting the intelligent development of China's automotive industry. At the signing ceremony, relevant entities from both sides signed two specific cooperation agreements: Tsinghua Zhixing and Unisoc under New Tsinghua Unigroup reached a cooperation agreement with Beijing Automotive Research Institute Co., Ltd. under BAIC Group on the intelligent cockpit all-in-one machine project; OT Company, engaged in advanced semiconductor R&D under New Tsinghua Unigroup, and Beijing Automotive Group Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. under BAIC Group, reached a cooperation intention on investing in OT Company and developing new architecture edge-side AI chips.
