On May 17, Changan Automobile addressed rumors suggesting that it would "adopt Qianli Technology's intelligent assisted driving solution and make an investment in the company," firmly denying any such intentions for the foreseeable future. The automaker clarified that its proprietary Tianshu Intelligence system has now reached a stage of maturity, negating the need to switch to alternative intelligent driving solutions. Changan Automobile has assembled a dedicated intelligent driving R&D team exceeding 5,000 professionals and has secured qualifications for Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous driving technologies.
