Between May 7 and May 14, 2026, BYD established an additional 55 flash charging stations, bringing the cumulative total to 5,979 stations, which are distributed across 312 cities throughout China. In March of this year, BYD introduced the world's first mass-produced flash charging pile, boasting a maximum single-gun power output of 1,500KW. When paired with its second-generation Blade Battery, this innovation dramatically accelerates charging speeds and ensures outstanding charging performance, even under extreme cold conditions of -30°C. Furthermore, BYD has embarked on the Flash Charging China Strategy, with ambitious plans to construct a total of 20,000 flash charging stations by the year's end. This strategic initiative includes the development of 18,000 urban charging stations and 2,000 highway charging stations.
