On May 17, during the 15th Global Technology Conference, Gotion High-Tech unveiled its ambitious strategy to mass-produce essential materials for solid-state batteries, aiming to significantly cut down costs. Pan Ruijun, the head of solid-state battery development, stated that once the price of lithium sulfide descends to 500,000 yuan per ton and solid-state electrolytes to 300,000 yuan per ton, the production cost of solid-state batteries will plummet to 1 yuan per watt-hour, marking the dawn of the '1 Yuan Era.' In pursuit of this goal, Gotion High-Tech has meticulously charted a capacity expansion blueprint for both lithium sulfide and solid-state electrolytes, ensuring it can adequately meet the burgeoning market demand for solid-state batteries in the times ahead.
