On May 6, the intelligent construction initiative for producing high-end aluminum alloy plates, strips, and foils, specifically tailored for Hengjin new energy vehicles, was officially inaugurated in the Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone. Shen Xudong, the Secretary of the District Party Committee, declared the project's commencement. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Chen Weitao, the Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Mayor, along with other distinguished guests.

This ambitious project, which is both invested in and constructed by Nantong Hengjin Composite Materials Co., Ltd., is designed to annually manufacture 250,000 tons of premium aluminum alloy plates, strips, and foils. This production capacity is strategically aligned to cater to the burgeoning market demand for new energy vehicles, thereby bolstering the industry's growth trajectory.
