In April 2026, HiMo Intelligent Travel delivered 32,759 vehicles, representing an 18.9% year-on-year increase. From January to April of the same year, the cumulative deliveries witnessed a 36% year-on-year growth. Recently, some Xiangjie S9 owners reported an incident where, upon activating the rear-seat zero-gravity mode, the front passenger seat automatically folded, nearly trapping a child. On May 5, a spokesperson for HiMo Intelligent Travel clarified that the situation shown in the online video did not meet the criteria for activating the anti-pinch function. They also mentioned that certain models' second-row zero-gravity seats are indeed equipped with anti-pinch capabilities. Launched in 2024 through a joint venture between BAIC and HiMo Intelligent Travel, the Xiangjie S9 has attracted notable owners, including Zhou Hongyi. The new model garnered over 8,000 pre-sale orders within just 72 hours of its release. Previously, the Xiangjie S9 had already been in the spotlight due to rumors surrounding a rear-end collision and unsubstantiated testing conclusions propagated by self-media platforms. On the evening of April 25, the newly launched AITO M9 series amassed over 25,000 pre-orders within 72 hours, while the Smart Vision V9 exceeded 22,500 pre-orders during the same timeframe. On April 22 evening, HiMo Intelligent Travel's spring product launch unveiled five new models and officially appointed Xiao Zhan as the brand ambassador for Shangjie.
