On April 29, just before the May Day holiday, Tesla China introduced the 2026.8.3.6 iteration of its in-car software update to a select group of users. This update primarily encompasses three key enhancements: the introduction of a novel feature to conceal navigation destination suggestions, empowering users to deactivate the recommendation function within the navigation settings; refined braking logic aimed at bolstering the smoothness of braking; and the implementation of several security patches. This particular version had already undergone testing abroad and was subsequently rolled out in phases across the Chinese market at the close of April.
