At the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, Feng Changjun, the General Manager of Dongfeng Motor, unveiled an ambitious sales target: by 2030, the company aims to sell 5 million vehicles globally. Notably, new energy vehicles (NEVs) are projected to constitute over 70% of these sales, while overseas markets are expected to contribute 40%. Dongfeng Motor also pledged to sustain its research and development (R&D) investment intensity at above 7% to drive innovation. In a significant development, the Yijing X9, Dongfeng Motor's first large six-seater SUV developed in collaboration with Huawei Qiankun, made its grand debut at the event.
