Moreover, the company proudly unveiled the industry's inaugural fully redundant L4 autonomous light truck, while also offering a glimpse into the cutting-edge technologies underpinning these innovations. Notably, the 2027 L4 Robotaxi will also feature an international variant, aimed at propelling Pony.ai's global market penetration. By 2026, Pony.ai envisions expanding its service footprint to over 20 cities, boasting a fleet of more than 3,000 vehicles, inclusive of 1,000 Toyota bZ4X Robotaxis. This particular model has already embarked on comprehensive autonomous driving trials and is poised to initiate commercial operations in major metropolitan areas.
