On April 24, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on social media platform X that Tesla has commenced production of the Cybercab self-driving taxi, fulfilling its previous commitment to launch the model. Tesla plans to initiate production of this new vehicle this month and integrate it as part of its self-driving taxi network. The Cybercab, unveiled two years ago, is a two-door, two-seater sedan designed without a steering wheel or pedals, requiring regulatory exemption from U.S. authorities to operate on roads.
