At the Beijing Auto Show, BYD showcased its latest offerings, including the Tang EV and Yuan PLUS models. Notably, the Tang EV stands out as the inaugural D-class flagship SUV within the Dynasty series, boasting a pre-sale price bracket of 250,000 to 320,000 yuan. This eagerly anticipated vehicle is slated for release in the first half of this year. Adopting BYD's cutting-edge family design language, the Tang EV impresses with its generous dimensions, measuring 5263mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1790mm in height, complemented by a substantial 3130mm wheelbase.
Inside, the Tang EV offers a modern and spacious cabin, highlighted by a sleek floating central control screen and a versatile 2+2+3 seven-seat configuration. When it comes to performance, the Tang EV provides customers with a choice between a single-motor setup and a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system. The latter variant is particularly noteworthy, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds and boasting an impressive maximum pure electric range of up to 950km. Additionally, the vehicle supports rapid charging technology and comes equipped with advanced features such as the Yunian-A dual-chamber air suspension, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride.
