On the inaugural day of the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Geely proudly presented EvaCab, China’s inaugural domestically-developed Robotaxi prototype. This vehicle has undergone extensive customization by Cao Cao Mobility and is engineered with a forward-looking approach, leveraging Geely’s L4-level AI digital architecture. It is specifically tailored for L4 autonomous driving scenarios, showcasing three significant technological advancements: an inherent L4-level AI digital architecture, seamless integration with the WAM (World Action Model), and notable progress in computing capabilities and sensing hardware. The custom variant developed by Cao Cao Mobility is slated for mass production and commercial deployment by 2027, with projections indicating a cumulative deployment of 100,000 units by 2030. Furthermore, Geely is set to forge a futuristic three-dimensional travel ecosystem that harmonizes space-ground connectivity.
