On April 20, Pony.ai announced the launch of driverless Robotaxi testing in Dubai, marking a key milestone in its Dubai strategy and deepening its cooperation with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority. According to the plan, commercial services will be launched in Dubai in the second half of 2026, with a fleet size of several hundred vehicles. Currently, Pony.ai has achieved break-even in the unit economic model for single vehicles in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China, and plans to deploy over 3,000 Robotaxis in more than 20 cities globally by 2026, with nearly half of them overseas.
