The lightning-fast charging station set up by BYD in Everest Town, which holds the distinction of being the highest-altitude charging station in the world, has officially started its operations. As of April 16, BYD has successfully built a cumulative total of 5,356 flash charging stations spread across 311 cities throughout the country. Moreover, the company has ambitious plans to expand this network to 20,000 stations by the end of 2026. This strategic move is aimed at addressing users' concerns about charging availability and ushering in a new era of lightning-fast charging for new energy vehicles.
