On April 17, 2026, Audi and SAIC Motor inked a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a significant step forward in their collaborative efforts. This agreement zeroes in on a comprehensive value chain strategy for upcoming AUDI brand models, with a primary emphasis on vehicle R&D. The duo has laid out plans to establish the Audi Innovation Technology Center in Shanghai. Under Audi's leadership, the center will be dedicated to advancing R&D in intelligent electrification technologies and fostering the full value chain growth of Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICV). Leveraging the next-generation intelligent digital platform, both parties will collaborate on the development of future AUDI brand models, with an initial lineup of four models slated for launch in the Chinese market in the years ahead.
