On April 17th, reports surfaced indicating that on the preceding day, April 16th, Sinomach Automobile forged a strategic cooperation framework agreement with EVE Energy Co., Ltd. in Tianjin. Both China Automotive Engineering Corporation and China Automobile Import & Export Co., Ltd., which are subsidiaries under the Sinomach Automobile umbrella, entered into separate cooperation agreements with EVE Energy Co., Ltd.—one focused on an engineering project and the other on a battery recycling chain project. Specifically, China Automotive Engineering Corporation is set to spearhead EVE Energy's overseas energy storage battery factory initiative, offering comprehensive engineering and technical support to facilitate its global production capacity expansion.
