Data from S&P Global Mobility's registration records reveal that, of the 7,071 Cybertrucks registered in the fourth quarter of the previous year, SpaceX alone acquired 1,279 units, constituting more than 18% of the total. In the same timeframe, other enterprises under Musk's ownership also purchased 60 units. This indicates that close to one-fifth of the Cybertrucks registered during that quarter were part of an internal 'self-purchasing' phenomenon within Musk's business conglomerate. The cumulative expenditure on these vehicles could surpass $100 million, with this trend persisting into the current year.
