On April 16, Bloomberg revealed that Tesla’s electric pickup, the Cybertruck, has seen its recent sales bolstered primarily by other companies within Musk’s business empire. For instance, in the fourth quarter of the previous year, of the 7,071 Cybertrucks registered in the United States, SpaceX accounted for the purchase of 1,279 units, constituting more than 18% of the total. During the same timeframe, other Musk-owned companies also bought 60 units. In January and February of this year, an additional 158 and 67 Cybertrucks were registered, respectively. This trend suggests that the model has yet to captivate the interest of the general consumer market.
