According to the Industrial Coordination and Development Branch of the China Automobile Dealers Association, the passenger vehicle market wrapped up its post-Spring Festival recovery phase in March and transitioned into a brief adjustment period in the first half of April. During this time, demand saw a slight dip compared to the same period in March. However, the second half of April is expected to witness a steady rebound in the passenger vehicle market, buoyed by the soaring popularity of the Beijing International Auto Show, the introduction of numerous new products that spur consumer spending, and the acceleration of car-buying demand ahead of the May Day holiday. On the whole, it is forecasted that terminal sales of passenger vehicles will reach 1.6 million units in April.
