On February 26th, according to foreign media reports, sources familiar with the matter said that Stellantis (STLA.N) is considering introducing electric vehicle technology from its Chinese partner Leapmotor to reduce costs for its European mass-market brands, such as Fiat, Opel, and Peugeot. Stellantis is also considering expanding its joint venture partnership with Leapmotor to access more advanced battery and electric vehicle powertrain technologies. Currently, Stellantis is already selling models such as Leapmotor's C10 SUV in Europe through its dealer network.
