On February 12, Shanghai Boonray Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., with CITIC Securities and CITIC Construction International as its joint sponsors, officially submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. According to the prospectus, which cites data from CIC Industry Insights, Boonray emerged as the world’s largest provider of purely electric autonomous mining trucks in 2024, leading in both shipment volume and revenue. As of December 31, 2024, the company also stood out as the global frontrunner in electric and automated mining solutions, based on the cumulative number of mines adopting its technologies. Moreover, Boonray holds the distinction of being the first company worldwide to deploy a fleet of purely electric autonomous mining trucks in mining operations. In the same year, Boonray secured the second position among China’s autonomous mining truck solutions providers in terms of shipment volume.
