The traffic accident involving a Xiaomi SU7 Ultra on Chengdu Tianfu Avenue has continued to capture public attention. According to a report from Nandu N Video, responsibility for the collision has been clearly established, with the driver, surnamed Deng, being held entirely accountable. The vehicle involved was recorded traveling at a speed exceeding 200 km/h just three seconds prior to the crash and at over 160 km/h at the moment of impact. These speeds far surpassed the posted speed limit for the section of road where the accident occurred. Earlier, the Chengdu police had reported that at approximately 3:18 a.m. on October 13, 2025, the incident resulted in the death of the driver, surnamed Deng, as well as damage to two vehicles. The driver was also suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
