Li Auto has recently launched a dedicated humanoid robot division. Just two weeks prior, Lang Xianpeng, previously the Senior Vice President overseeing Autonomous Driving R&D, was named to helm this new division. Concurrently, Zhan Yifei, a seasoned algorithm specialist in the field of autonomous driving, also made the transition to this division, stepping into a leadership position under the supervision of Ma Donghui, who leads the Intelligent Vehicle Group. Since assembling the new team back in January of this year, Li Auto's robotics team has made significant strides, laying the groundwork for both software and hardware technologies. Lang Xianpeng and Zhan Yifei have been actively engaging with the robotics community, frequently traveling to keep abreast of the latest advancements in the industry.
