In January 2026, the new energy passenger vehicle (NEV) market exhibited robust overall performance. A total of 16 manufacturers posted monthly wholesale sales figures surpassing 10,000 units, collectively capturing 90.3% of the entire NEV market share. Notably, BYD led the pack with a remarkable 205,518 units sold, trailed by Geely Auto at 124,252 units, and Tesla China secured the third spot with 69,129 units. Moreover, other manufacturers such as Chery Automobile, Seres Automobile, and Xiaomi Automobile also demonstrated commendable performance, each achieving sales exceeding 30,000 units.
