On February 12, it was reported that WeRide-W (00800.HK) and Uber (UBER.N) jointly announced the official launch of the first Robotaxi commercial operation service in downtown Abu Dhabi, marking the first deployment of autonomous vehicles in the city. As the service coverage expands, WeRide and Uber's Robotaxi service now covers approximately 70% of Abu Dhabi's core areas. Since the commencement of Robotaxi commercial operations in December 2024, the size of the collaborative fleet has grown fourfold.
