Following a series of tests, it was discovered that after repeated startups, the electromagnetic switch within the starter may undergo abnormal wear. This wear can subsequently result in difficulties or a complete failure to start the vehicle. Moreover, there exists a potential for short - circuiting, which might lead to localized overheating. In severe scenarios, a fire hazard could arise while the vehicle is in motion. It is strongly advised that vehicle owners refrain from leaving their vehicles unattended when the engine is running. The models affected by this recall encompass the 2 Series Coupe, 3 Series, 4 Series, and 5 Series.
