Barely three years into their service life, 672 pure electric buses operated by Dongguan's leading bus company have been predominantly taken out of service due to battery degradation. This has led the company to initiate legal proceedings against the supplier, seeking a hefty compensation of RMB 431 million. The case has recently witnessed significant progress. Longzhou Group Co., Ltd. has disclosed that its subsidiary, Dongguan Zhongqi Hongyuan Automobile Co., Ltd., has been handed a primary verdict by the Dongguan First People's Court. The court has ordered the subsidiary to compensate for operational losses to the tune of RMB 51.83495 million and to uphold its warranty responsibilities.
