The Ministry of Commerce organized a symposium specifically for automobile enterprises, centering on the dynamics of automobile circulation and consumption. The event saw the participation of relevant associations, research institutions, and representatives from various automobile companies. Vice Minister Sheng Qiuping was present and actively engaged in the discussions. He emphasized that China boasts a massive market with tremendous potential for automobile consumption, underpinned by stable policy frameworks. The prospects for expanding automobile consumption throughout the entire supply chain are vast. By 2026, the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with pertinent departments, intends to streamline the process of trading in old vehicles for new ones. This will be achieved through a combination of policy support, reform, and innovation, integrating both existing and new policies. Additionally, the ministry plans to initiate pilot reforms in circulation and consumption, and refine industry management systems to foster the expansion and quality enhancement of automobile consumption.
