Today, Xiaomi's Legal Department announced the progress in safeguarding the rights of Xiaomi car owners who have been subjected to cyberattacks. Since the collection of assistance information began on September 26, 2025, up until February 9 of this year, 18,266 people have participated, with 2,189 providing evidence. Assistance has been provided to help 51 car owners successfully file cases, and the rights protection efforts continue to advance. Recently, there have been multiple incidents of malicious offline damage to Xiaomi car owners' vehicles. Xiaomi's Legal Department has actively responded to the owners' demands and assisted in the investigations. Currently, the perpetrators of the first two incidents have been apprehended and penalized, with compensation provided for the losses. Another incident has been resolved through settlement. Xiaomi's Legal Department maintains a 'zero-tolerance' stance towards infringement and reminds car owners to submit evidence through the Xiaomi Auto Community if they encounter related incidents.
