Yesterday, Li Xueyong, Executive Vice President of Chery Automobile, revealed that aviation-grade, pure electromechanical brake-by-wire (EMB) technology will make its debut in land vehicles. The EXEED EX7 is set to become the world’s first performance luxury SUV to enter mass production with this cutting-edge technology, with its market debut expected in the first quarter. By eliminating traditional hydraulic brake lines and directly controlling braking through electrical signals, this technology ensures lightning-fast response times and significantly shortens braking safety distances. When paired with the Flying Fish Chassis 3.0, it further boosts driving stability and safety. The EXEED EX7 is designed as a mid-to-large-sized SUV, boasting a sleek, minimalist design infused with advanced technology. It offers two powertrain options: extended-range and pure electric. The extended-range variant provides a pure electric driving range of 182 to 203 kilometers, while the pure electric version can travel up to 682 to 726 kilometers on a single charge.
