On February 6, Kong Dejun, the Director of the Department of Service Trade and Commercial Services at the Ministry of Commerce, disclosed during the State Council's routine policy briefing that the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with other departments, is set to propel the expansion and quality enhancement of consumption within the automotive after-sales service sector. This initiative will be undertaken in three key areas, as outlined in the Work Plan.
Firstly, the implementation of pilot programs to pioneer new development models. To keep pace with the evolving trends in automotive circulation and consumption, the Ministry of Commerce will work hand-in-hand with pertinent departments to spearhead pilot reforms in this domain. Pilot regions will be encouraged to delve deeper into reforms, making innovative strides in management systems, standard technologies, data platforms, and beyond, tailored to their specific circumstances. This will pave the way for high-quality development in the automotive after-sales service sector.
Simultaneously, efforts will be made to optimize the automotive rental service network, fostering the synergistic growth of automotive rental alongside industries such as tourism.
