BYD Co., Ltd. released its production and sales report for January on February 1. In January 2026, the production of new energy vehicles reached 232,358 units, down 29.13% year-on-year; sales amounted to 210,051 units, down 30.11% year-on-year. Among them, passenger vehicle sales stood at 205,518 units, down 30.67% year-on-year. In the same month, 100,482 new energy vehicles were exported, and the total installed capacity of power batteries and energy storage batteries was approximately 20.187 GWh.
