On February 1, GAC Group unveiled its production and sales data for January. According to the figures, GAC Group manufactured 110,795 vehicles in January 2026, marking a 4.77% decline year-on-year. However, its sales volume reached 116,622 vehicles, soaring by 18.47% compared to the same period last year. Among its key invested companies, GAC Toyota sold 62,600 vehicles in January, experiencing a 9.82% increase year-on-year. GAC Trumpchi's sales hit 27,684 units, surging by 51.06% from the previous year. Notably, GAC Aion's new energy vehicle sales skyrocketed to 21,635 units, demonstrating a remarkable 171.63% year-on-year growth. In contrast, GAC Honda's sales dropped to 4,558 vehicles in January, plummeting by 69.86% compared to the same month last year.
