Recently, Dongfeng Voyah unveiled a sweeping upgrade plan for the core production lines at its Yunfeng Factory, with the ambitious goal of reaching a production capacity of 60 vehicles per hour. Once the transformation is complete, the combined production prowess of Voyah's Golden Factory and Yunfeng Factory will soar to 90 vehicles per hour. This translates to an average of one car rolling off the assembly line every 40 seconds. The Yunfeng Factory stands out as it houses China's first 100% domestically-produced new energy vehicle production line, granting it full autonomy over the manufacturing process.

In July 2025, Voyah made a strategic move by acquiring the Wuhan Dongfeng Yunfeng Automobile Factory for RMB 723 million. This state-of-the-art facility encompasses five key production processes and is designed for flexible manufacturing, capable of producing both pure electric and hybrid vehicles. Initially, it boasts an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, with the potential to expand up to 300,000 units.

In September 2024, the first batch of Voyah Zhiyin vehicles proudly rolled off the production line at this very factory. Fast forward to December 29, 2025, and the Yunfeng Factory celebrated a significant milestone by delivering the 5,000th Voyah Taishan vehicle, achieving this feat in a mere 26 days.
