On January 10, during BAIC New Energy's Smart Mobility Technology Day, the BAIC Arcfox Alpha S (L3 version) embarked on large-scale pilot road trials. This milestone signifies a significant acceleration in China's autonomous driving sector towards widespread commercial application. To guarantee safe and systematic operations, the pilot project adopts a phased approach of prioritizing "B-end" (business-to-business) clients before gradually expanding access. Once supporting policies are fully developed and in place, the plan is to start rolling out access to individual users, beginning in the second quarter of 2026.
