In 2025, its retail sales soared to 258,000 units, securing the top spot among sedans priced over 200,000 yuan. In contrast, the Model 3 trailed behind at the fifth position, with 200,000 units sold.

Lei Jun also expressed unwavering confidence in the Xiaomi YU7. Despite facing a sales gap compared to the Tesla Model Y during the first six months after its launch, he firmly believes that the YU7 has what it takes to go head-to-head with the Model Y in the future.
