On January 6, data unveiled by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) in India revealed that the country's vehicle retail sales volume hit 2,028,821 units in December 2025, reflecting a 14.63% year-on-year increase. Breaking it down, the retail sales volume of passenger vehicles stood at 379,671 units, showing a notable 26.64% year-on-year rise; meanwhile, the retail sales volume of commercial vehicles reached 83,666 units, climbing 24.60% compared to the same period last year.
