On January 5, 2026, Huawei's Executive Director Yu Chengdong led a team to visit the Panyu headquarters of GAC Group, where they held in-depth discussions with high-level executives including GAC Group's Chairman Feng Xingya and General Manager Ge Xianqing. The two sides discussed the co-construction of the Hongmeng ecosystem and AI technology cooperation, and signed a comprehensive cooperation framework agreement. According to the agreement, the two sides will integrate their respective strengths in new energy vehicle manufacturing, operating systems, intelligent cockpits, and global services to jointly create globally competitive intelligent travel solutions, accelerating the intelligent and internationalization process of China's automotive industry. Models such as the GAC Hyper A800, GAC Trumpchi Vision M8, and Vision S9 are already equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving and Hongmeng Intelligent Cockpit. In the future, the two sides will also jointly develop distinctive applications and services to enrich the all-scenario intelligent travel experience under the Hongmeng ecosystem. Additionally, the first hunting coupe of the Qijing brand, jointly created by GAC and Huawei, is expected to be launched and delivered in June this year.
