On January 6th, news emerged that GAC Honda recently issued an announcement stating that, owing to factors like semiconductor supply constraints and technological upgrades on production lines, it would be adjusting its production schedule for January 2026. According to a relevant official from GAC Honda, the impact of this short-term production adjustment is relatively minor. It is anticipated that the production volume lost during this period can be fully recovered over the course of the year, ensuring that product deliveries to customers remain unaffected. Starting from January 5th, the GAC Honda factory will suspend production for two weeks, amounting to a total of 10 working days. Another insider source disclosed that this adjustment was indeed a decision made by Honda.
