The Ministry of Transport has released implementation guidelines aimed at expediting the development and utilization of public data resources within the transportation sector. These guidelines advocate for cross-industry data integration and application, with a particular focus on addressing the public's travel requirements, ensuring seamless transportation, reducing logistics expenses and enhancing efficiency, promoting multimodal transport, advancing green and low-carbon development, and bolstering financial services. The objective is to establish exemplary demonstration scenarios that will streamline the integration of transportation data with resources from public safety, energy, tourism, satellite remote sensing, meteorology, financial insurance, and other pertinent fields, thereby aiding the transformation and modernization of traditional industries. Simultaneously, by promoting data openness and authorized operations, the guidelines aim to facilitate the integration of public transportation data with enterprise data, thereby fostering the growth of emerging and future-oriented industries such as artificial intelligence, intelligent driving, the low-altitude economy, next-generation information technology, and new energy vehicles.
