As reported by Businesskorea, on December 31st, Tesla made the strategic decision to slash the prices of its vehicles sold in South Korea. This move aims to bolster its price competitiveness and gain a larger foothold in the South Korean market, with the maximum price reduction amounting to a substantial 9.4 million won.
To be specific, the Model 3 Performance All-Wheel Drive variant saw its price drop from 69.39 million won to 59.99 million won, marking a significant decrease of 9.4 million won. The Model Y Performance All-Wheel Drive model's price fell from 63.14 million won to 59.99 million won, a reduction of 3.15 million won. Meanwhile, the price of the Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive version decreased from 52.99 million won to 49.99 million won, representing a cut of 3 million won.
