The National Natural Science Foundation's major project, "Design Theory and System Control Technology for Modular Distributed Electric-Drive Heavy-Duty Vehicles," which is being led by Professor Yang Diange from Tsinghua University's School of Vehicle and Mobility, has achieved a significant milestone. The world's inaugural fully decoupled modular distributed electric-drive heavy-duty specialized vehicle has triumphantly emerged from the production line in Beijing. This pivotal event was co-witnessed by a distinguished group including Academician Lu Jianhua, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Natural Science Foundation Commission; Wu Huaqiang, Vice President of Tsinghua University; Lai Yinan, Deputy Director of the Engineering and Materials Science Department at the National Natural Science Foundation Commission; Cen Yanqing, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Transport; Zhang Jinhua, President of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China; Academicians Xiang Changle, Hou Xiao, Li Keqiang, and Li Dong from the Chinese Academy of Engineering; along with over 150 vehicle engineering experts and scholars from various regions across the country.
