Following his departure, there are indications that he may venture into entrepreneurship. With Zhang Xiao's resignation, the second product line, which was previously under his purview, will now be merged with the first product line. This combined entity will be overseen by Tang Jing, who previously held the position of president for the first product line. Zhang Xiao joined Li Auto in 2016 and played a pivotal role in shaping the product definitions for models like the Li ONE and L9. His contributions have been instrumental in the establishment and development of Li Auto's comprehensive product system.
