The news that Xiaomi has handed out red envelopes worth over 100 million yuan to car dealers has sparked widespread attention. Xiaomi Group clarified that this policy is specifically designed for “vehicle integration stores,” which are retail outlets that sell cars, mobile phones, and large home appliances simultaneously.
The subsidies are categorized into two types. Stores established in 2024 will each receive a subsidy of 100,000 yuan. Meanwhile, stores newly constructed from January 1 to December 15, 2025, will each be granted a subsidy of 500,000 yuan, which will be distributed in the form of red envelopes. Some dealers have received subsidies exceeding 4 million yuan, and this initiative has garnered positive responses from them.
As of November 30, Xiaomi boasts 441 stores across 131 cities nationwide, with service outlets encompassing 249 stores in 144 cities. Xiaomi's entire lineup of vehicle models is facing a shortage, with no inventory build - up. In November, the delivery volume surpassed 40,000 units, exceeding the initial target of 350,000 deliveries set for 2025. It is anticipated that the delivery volume for this year will exceed 400,000 units.
Currently, Xiaomi's main challenges lie in the production and delivery sectors. The company is ramping up production capacity while continuously expanding its sales and service network.
